Hello everyone, My name is Sherry L. Denson Sellers. I have been a volunteer for Donate Life for nearly three years. I work in the community to educate people on the importance of Organ, Eye & Tissue Donation. I am the mother of Brande Nicole Denson who died due to an auto accident on April 22,2009 at the age of 19. Brande was a nursing student and an organ donor. Little did we know that she would end up saving so many lives and restoring the sight to not one but two people.
I am now working as the Community Education Director and raising money for educational materials for the N.W. Louisiana Lions Eye Bank. We are in desperate need of an education program and I am the contact person for the job.
